Exploring Sims 3: Part Four, a Day in Town

On Sunday morning, Benny wakes up. He's been tasked by the lab in town to earn a logic point, and now he's going to report his progress -- which merits him money.

Afterwards, he's in the mood to hear a symphony -- so he heads downtown.

The theatre doesn't open 'til twelve, so he decides to walk down to a local bistro.

He bumps into Tobias on the way there, and after a little conversation they decide to lunch together.

Tobias, of course, says to hell with tuxedos. They're only good for sleeping in.

Go Benny! Of course, he just exposed himself to the Week of Hell...but that's a story for another time.

After lunch, Benny heads to the theater. They're not having any music, but they are showing a movie. While he's inside, I see an older lady teaching her granddaughter to walk! Aww! And she's Benny's boss! The one whose paperwork Benny does every day.

Benny:  Consumerism, like band-aids, only covers up the inner hunger.People buy things hoping it will make them happy, but it does not!  It gives them more to worry about, and the novelty soon wears off: they want more, and more.  It does not heal the wound.
Boss:  (mind is blown)

Benny is such a suck-up. He'll need to curry favor with his boss, though, for he's about to endure...the Week of Hell.
